We came early tonight to watch the sunset, got a table and sat back for three hour's, no presure and spent the late afternoon enjoying the great food and live music as we watch the sunset. Our server, Thomas, was proactive and on top of everything insuring our drinks were constantly topped off as well our meals.

If your in the area, highly recommend Bongos as the price was well worth the experience.

We loved to go to this bar every year and kick back and enjoy the music and atmosphere but this year was a different story. On arrival we sat at the outside easy chairs near the band stand and waited to be served and waited some more time before my husband got up and asked one of the four servers stood watching the beach tables for a drink and bar menu. About 20 minutes later our meal was dumped on the table without any cutlery or condiments and was cold and dried up, not what we were expecting ! after another visit by my husband to ask the bill we paid and left without coming back for our entire holiday...lets hope next year gives better service.. ?

While vacationing in St Pete's Beach, We chose Bongos for a family sunset dinner on the beach and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was just perfect, many tables have a direct view of the setting sun, the service was prompt, attentive and friendly and the food was very good.

Our table was directly on the beach, so we took off our sandals to enjoy the powdery sand under our feet while ate! Nice!

There was a gazebo set up for a wedding which made a great picture spot while waiting for our meal.

After dark, another wedding a few blocks down had a fireworks show which we watched from our table.

If you're on vacation in St Pete's, pay Bongos a visit to soak a sunset, you'll treasure the memory.

This is a must for a sunset snack. Fish tacos or California Burger, good glass of wine and it is a great evening.

Ive been to Bongo's a couple of times, and usually to sit at the bar and listen to the live music, AMAZING! but today i went with some co-workers and had lunch! It was a little chilly this afternoon, but still an amazing setup! We had an awesome server who had a huge smile on his face the whole time, he recommended the Fish tacos for me, and i had a bite of my friends steak and cheese sub which he recommended too, and both were just SUPERB! And the Jacobs Crush cocktail! YUMM! we reminisced about his travels, and how he wants to bartend there, which i highly recommend!. His name is Rob and ill definitely be coming back and requesting him! The steel drum singer was also really good today! Overall my friends and i had an AMAZING lunch, and we extended it to 2 hours! #6 on trip advisor?! i think itll be number 1 soon!
