I wanted to run around our resort and shout to everyone GO TO THE PARADISE GRILL. It was that awesome.

We went for breakfast (a waitress at another restaurant urged us to go there and see how awesome it is) and it was as amazing as described. It looks like a picnic shelter house at first and then you walk around and BAM! the Gulf is feet away and picnic tables w/ umbrellas are everywhere.

It's counter service - they deliver it to your table. The food was fantastic - from omelettes to bagels, it was all fresh and fantastic.

The view cannot be beat. We all said we'd want to be there for the best unobstructed view of the sunset. Looks like they have a great dinner menu, too. I'm sure it would be fantastic, too, as the view alone is worth the visit.

Our kids stayed happy on the beach. Also, a small craft fair was happening next door, so that was an added bonus. :)

I have lived here 36 years and every Thursday a group of locals meet for Breakfast and bask in the view and the excellent food my favorite being a specially made omelet with my choice of ingredients. You are virtually sitting on the beach having breakfast

We always have at least one breakfast a week at Paradise Grill. Sit outside by the ocean on tables with great umbrellas for shade. Listen to the ocean waves. Watch the seagulls - they will try to steal your food which is part of the fun. Great bacon, pancakes and homefries. It is quite a walk from St Pete Beach proper (past Don Cesar going south) but you can walk and take the little trolly back if it gets to hot out.

There are actually two locations of this resto. One is in Pass-a-grill and we found out about the other when we had cokes there. The other was just steps from the Beachcomber down the beach and seemed like a continuation of St Pete Beach but had a sign reading "Upham Beach". Great breakfast, the best home fry potatoes we had during our stay. Everything was well cooked, not overly greasy, and you could not beat the early morning view of the beach from the picnic tables with beach umbrellas on the deck. VERY good prices, too. As we were there for breakfast, I didn't specifically note it, but I _think_ they had beer and wine possibly. Every sort of juice and soda you could ask for, for certain. Definitely a great place.
