We went on teh Miss Pass A Grille for a hafe a day fishing. They had a storm the night before and the capt. said it would be rough so gave you the choice of going or not. It was rough, wife got sick so did several other people. But I did and she also caught fish got to keep a couple snapper and to throw back two grouper ( to small). I had fun, if the water was calmer it would have been great. I would defintely go again.

We (5 of us) decided to do an end of vacation, last minute trip. We had originally thought we were going to a private charter, but found that wasn't available. Several people recommended the Miss Pass-A-Grille. Well, turned out to be great idea. We had about 20 people total, including a couple of locals (always a good sign). CA. Randy, and first mate Rich were great. They ran a really good trip. Highly recommend for a first time deep sea trip, especially with kids and/or first time anglers.
Fishing turned out to be "just ok". Everybody in our group caught something, which was great, but even the captain mentioned that the fishing was a little slow.

Would DEFINITLY do this again!

We took the excursion on 7-1-2012. CaptainRich's sense of humor is hilarious. This added so much tot he trip. Captain Rich and his crew are so kind and very patient. They truly want everyone to catch a fish. They will try fishing spot after fishing spot to make sure everyone gets a bite. We had a difficult time fishing in several spots so the crew would moved the boat to various spots. After the 4 hours Captain Rich took it upon himself to extend the trip another hour just so everyone could get a shot at catching a fish. This turned out to be the best hour of the trip. So many people caught fish in the last hour. My son caught a 22" Grouper and my wife caught a Grey Snapper. A great time was had by all. Hats Off to Captain Rich and his crew. When we return to Florida next year we are going on the Miss-Pass-A-Grille again. I recommend the Miss-Pass-Grille to anyone!

I called 3 weeks ahead of our trip to Tampa, and made a reservation for SIX KIDS and five adults. We woke SIX KIDS at 6:30, got them fed and out the door and arrived at the dock to find they did not have a record of our reservation and had no room on the boat!! They did offer to put us on the afternoon charter .... if they could get 20 people to sign up!!! Looking at a 90+ degree afternoon and going into naptime on a few of the kids we declined. It may have been a great trip, but we will never know.

We took our 7 and 9 year olds deep sea fishing. The crew was patient with our lack of experience. Cost was roughly 50 per person. Be prepared to tip crew since they only make the tips. Grouper. Sharkl, puffer fish. snapper and more were caught. We caught 3 fish but had to throw one grouper back since it wasn't big enough.
