We stayed for 5 nights at the Coconut Inn at the end of September. Great location, the gulf is only 1/2 a block away. Very clean, had everything we needed, the folks who work here are very nice.
Very relaxing and peaceful vacation. Would go back to the Coconut Inn tomorrow if we could!
Take a short trip to Fort DeSoto, well worth it!!!

We have always wanted to stay down at Pass a Grille and finally did so at Coconut Inn. The rooms are immaculate and have everything you could want. The pool is great and you are just steps from amazing beach and ocean!!! Eddie and Anna were extremely friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed and were having a great stay! We will be back!!!! Our friend from Russia loved it as much as we did, too!!!

Stayed in Sabal Palms for a few days and then switched over to Coconut Inn
for a couple of days. First, the area is THE BEST esp if ur not into
commercialized cheesy beach destinations. Its got a very laid back vibe.
Sort of reminds me of Key West. The two inns I stayed at had the same vibe.
The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. I loved the fact that
they have kitchens (although I highly recommend dinner at black palm and
paradise grill which is right on the beach and serves beer and wine).
Coconut Inn is new and more modern but both properties were spotlessly
clean and really comfortable. I do wish they offered shampoo and
conditioner though. I checked out the other inns and motels while I was
there and was relieved I made the best choice in Pass-a-grille.

We stayed only one night as we were travelling up the Mexican gulf. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had the place almost to ourselfs just before Labour day. Very clean and cosy. The pool was fab with coloured lighting at night. Dolphins just off the shore, what more could we have asked for. Well done all your hard work

Within a minute of entering the Coconut Inn you feel calm, serene and ready to have a warm relaxing experience. The room decor is simple, clean and brand new. The pool is small with easy access from all the rooms. The beach is accessed by crossing a service street. The staff, especially Pele and his wife are ready to take care of your every need. They are warm and friendly.

We highly recommend this inn for anyone that would like to enjoy the beach and feel like they have a home away from home.

We've stayed at Coconut Inn twice and loved it both times. The location can't be beat and it's very affordable. The Gulf of Mexico is 200 yards away and there are several good resturants within walking distance. We love Pass-a-Grill and plan to stay there again. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. We arrived very late at night after a big rock concert and didn't get our parking permit and they took care of our parking ticket. The pool in the courtyard was lots of fun. We met some people from up north that we plan to meet up with again sometime.

I am grudgingly writing this review because if more people find out how great it is I might not be able to rebook. But, I can't be greedy, and people need to know of one of the last real old Florida areas left. The accomidations were more than expected and everyone staying there ended up in the pool and partied for hours. Met some new friends and managers Eddie and Ana were the best at aking care of any of your needs. Can't wait to go back and already setting up a date.
