“Enjoyed funky Sea Hags”

We ate at Sea Hags twice. Good food, good value, pretty funky. Sat looking at the marina, only draw back was an outdoor smoker. Dogs were allowed.

“Won't go back”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2014 via mobile

We have eaten here the previous 2 years but this time we were very disappointed. We ordered the buckets of shrimp and clams and they were oozing with grease. We only ate about half and then gave up. The service was horrible and the air conditioning was blowing cold air right on us. Most people were eating with their coats on. Who comes south to want to do that? We won't be going back. No one asked how how meal was so it was obvious they don't really care.

“Great music and good food equals a fun time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2014

We always enjoy going to Sea Hags each year when vacationing in St Pete Beach. They have live music each evening (we check who is performing so we get to hear our favorites) no cover charge, a fun environment, good service, and delicious food. Have seldom been there when the place wasn't full with locals and snow birds. Their fish tacos and chowder are very good; I don't think you can go wrong no matter what you order.

“Great Grouper and More”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2014

Visited on a Sunday. Had not been there in a while. Started with the fried pickles. They are a must! Several of us had the blackened grouper - a huge piece of fish, perfectly prepared. A bit spicy for my taste; next time I would asked for lightly blackened. Salad was average - an 'anti-salad' as I call it with lettuce, cheese and croutons, as those ingredients defeat the purpose of having a salad! Other hits at the table were the taco salad and a pork tenderloin sandwich. My sister said that the fried/broasted chicken was the most tender she ever had! Tasty mojitos and sangria as well!
