“Popular Hot Spot”

We found our people - aging boomers and our favorite music live! Act III was playing the night we visited. Good food and a happening mid-week evening crowd in a party atmosphere. Never mind the slightly sticky tables, it was great fun. Glad we found it.

“Great food”

This was our second trip to Sea Hags and the food was great as always. The grouper was excellent. There is often a band playing.

After a walk on Sunset Beach, we decided to find a place to eat. We had passed the Sea Hag many times and had never stopped. We drove in, the parking you need to take care, some of the spots are for Marina parking, other than that we found a spot near the door. We were welcomed by a Hostess, smiling and friendly. We asked to sit near the Marina. They have both inside dining and outside on a deck near the Marina, close enough to smell the sea air and catch a breeze. We ordered hamburgers, mine Texas, outstanding, cooked to my ordering, big pieces of bacon, one of those you will need a napkin for your finger types. I had also ordered a Bloody Mary with a Garden, this drink came with a celery stock with 2 big olives as eyes and a piece of salamia as the face, looked real cute.....tasted soooooooooo good. My friend also had a hamburger and had a taste of the Sangria. We left empty plates, with thoughts of returning here again to eat, was curious about the BUCKETS, this for another visit. Stop try it for yourself, keep eye for it, it is tucked down near the bridge, on the Marina. ENJOY......

“Pretty much as expected - good food, but avoid smokey patio”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013

The main entrance from the parking lot is near the back, so we didn't see it at first and found ourselves on the dockside. We figured you had to enter through the outside patio which led through the bar area. This was not a good first impression, unless you like to be overwhelmed with the smell of cigarettes. We knew it was a bar, but I was almost inclined to leave because of the atmosphere - didn't seem like the kind of place to go for dinner (unless you drink and smoke a lot). My wife persuaded me to give it a try, and once we were seated in the more "civilized" section, it was pretty nice. You can't quite see the water, but you can see the boats and the interior walls have colourful prints (as well as a couple of sports screens).
Our hostess and waitress were very attentive and pleasant as was the young fellow who bought us our food. Both our dinners were fresh and tasty - my wife had Caribbean salad topped with grilled chicken, and I had a grouper sandwich. Portions were generous and modestly priced.
Not my favourite spot in the area, but not bad.
