Sirata Beach Resort
Ranked #12 of 32 Hotels in St. Pete Beach
Reviewed October 14, 2012

St. Pete Beach in general is a beautiful beach town -- wide, white sand beaches with gentle, warm water. So any place on the beach is going to be pleasant.

The poolside bar (Rum Runners) is fine. The servers are friendly, and service is pretty fast. Prices are very reasonable for a hotel bar/grill.

However, the Sirata's location is only part of the equation. The rooms are outdated and low-ceilinged. The air conditioning is strong but maybe a little too loud. The sinks are low and the bathrooms are small. I think the prices are competitive for the area, so if you don't want to pay Don Cesar prices, this place is probably as good as any other place for under $150/ night, but don't expect a great hotel experience.

There is barely enough parking for the hotel's rooms, so expect to park far from your room, especially if there's a wedding during the same time as your stay.

My wife and i have just had a fantastic two weeks at the Sirata beach resort.
The Hotel grounds are a great place to spent days at the pool or at one of the bars where you are made very welcome.
The staff make you so welcome and nothing is to much trouble you are greeted with a smile the perfect start to your holiday.
The rooms are all very modern and cleaned every day.
All the rooms have just had a refit and look great.
The hotel is on the beach with white sand and lots to do if you wish or just lay in the sun.
The hotel is also a great place to be able to travel up and down the fantastisc Gulf coast.
We would recommend you check in for a relaxing fantastic friendly time in a clean modern hotel.

Stayed here on vacation with a 2 year-old. The layout of the room was strange with the bathroom just as you enter and the corner of the granite top was right at her eye level with a very narrow entry way. That said the room was very nice and opened right onto the beach. The beach was large and flat. The only other disappointing thing was the pool was only open dawn to dusk so we could not swim when we arrived and then the next morning they were vacuuming it. I have no idea why we were not allowed to swim after we got back from the beach at night.

Travel dates: October 5th- 7th 2012

My boyfriend booked this beautiful hotel for the weekend of my birthday! We only live about an hour and a half from the st. beach area, but just wanted a little weekend away. So We arrived at the hotel at about 3 pm on the 5th so we checked in and planned our evening. I , decided to go to a drag show in tampa known as hamurger mary's , than we went to a gay club known as the honey pot. before we got ready for our evening of fun, we decided to go check the beach out where he proposed to me, this was a shocker to me! on the 6th we did the same thing as the night before except we went to a club in tampa know as the "G bar"

so more about the resort:

The service was great, people around the resort always are smiling and very friendly! We had to call to the front office about two times for some more towels and it only took them about 15 min to bring us towels we were all the way on the other side of the resort and on the 7th floor so I felt like that was good timing!

We paid a great price for this hotel. we booked on hotels.com

The hotel room could have been a liitle more updated it was very small I am a very skinny male and weight only 144 pounds and I felt very clasutrophobic at times the bathroom is very small !

The rooms were fairly clean athough I found a few hairs in the shower.. and sevral mud spots on the wall.

the pool and spa were always so busy!

over all I had a great stay!

Room Tip: get a gulf view!

When my fiancé and I arrived the employees at the registration desk were kind, helpful and welcoming. Check in took approx 5 minutes. They were nice enough to comp parking for us! The rooms were very nice although a few upgrades could help, like the bathrooms and ceilings. The view from the room was incredible made for a perfect place to propose to my new fiancé. Overall I give this hotel a 4 very pleased and will return!

We stayed for 4 nights I got it for $70 on Priceline If I paid more I would have wanted more, but the location is so perfect . We hardly used the facilities at the hotel, pool minimal maybe twice for less than an hour, the beach was to beautiful not to hang out down by the water. The room was fine clean the cleaning crew always had our room done by the time we got back from the beach always done before noon. The room had a little fridge it was handy have. We went to Publix down the street to pick up sandwiches for lunch one day. We enjoyed it no complaints.
