We stayed at this hotel for three days. We have done a good bit of traveling over the years with our dog and this is a great pet friendly hotel. The staff was consistently helpful and pleasant. Our room was very clean well maintained and beautifully looked after on a daily basis. The reception staff was very helpful and friendly. The beach is pet friendly so you can go for long walks on the beach.

Stayed here one night, but wasn't a great stay. The tv didn't work, nor did the vending machines. Bathroom was completely white, very plain, no frills at all. Free wifi was the only plus. if we had visited for the beach it would probably have been decent for that.

The sign said renovations are underway and it definately needs all the help they can give it. The carpet was filthy, the bedspread looked like it had been used in a crime scene cleanup and the condition of the room was terrible. The musty smell came not from the nearby ocean but the general unkept condition of the room. It wasn't a fun experience and we should have left but we were on the road and tired. Very disappointed that Holiday Inn has ignored this franchise. They need to close, tear out all the furniture from the '50s, burn the carpet and start all over again.

I am a very easy to please traveler. A clean room and I'm happy. A clean room is not what you'll find at this hotel. The room smelled very musty upon entering. I took off my shoes and stepped on the carpet and it was wet. I kept my shoes on for the next 2 days whenever in my room.

The bathroom walls were moldy. The furniture all had layers of film and mold on them. The funiture had wicker facades on it and the cracks in between were black from mold.

The balconies had a beautiful view of the ocean, even in a non-ocean front room. However they were concrete and the concrete was in bad repair. The railings were not very secure.

The general look of the hotel was not well kept. The only really nice area was the pool and gazebo area.

The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. I wish this staff could be moved to a nicer hotel. I would never stay there again. It is a $130 a night hotel worth about $30 a night.

I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. When Tropical Storm Faye came through our area she stalled right over our hotel for two days. Her wind and rain managed to get through every crack of our hotel. The roof was pulled just enough where our oceanfront rooms were completely flooded and had to be stripped and rebuilt. Good news is that we have brand new oceanfront rooms but the bad news is that Faye caused that disgusting wet, musty experience for our guests while we tried to dry out. We hope that you will give us another chance.

Quaint beach Hotel. We had our dog with us so it was great to find a hotel on the beach that is dog friendly at a reasonable price. Ten minute drive to downtown St. Augustine. Nice room, great pool right on the beach, nice breakfast and although we didn't use the cocktail lounge it looked nice as well. It is an all around average hotel, very nice, friendly, knowledgeable staff.
