We walked in, the outside as it appears a lot of Florida resorts looked a little plain, nothing to speak of other than location, location, location.
When we opened the front door we were greeted with a beautiful view of the sand dunes, beach and ocean. The condo was immaculate and breakfast bar was set, it looked inviting and so welcoming my sister and I were so excited it felt like a dream vacation spot come true.
The facility felt owner-occupied (I mean this in a good way) - a lot of little detail and thought into making the stay special for guests with extra care, services I have not experienced (such as weekly fresh shrimp delivery if you order a couple days in advance). They gave a great welcome continental breakfast that was not a sales pitch - was truly just to let you know of activities and sites to see.
Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with our week stay but that's on mother nature!
The only downfall was the pool was not heated which we expected (maybe we didn't read fine print when booking it last year). They did have access to a tennis club a short walk away that had an indoor and out door pool (both small) and the indoor pool there was nothing to get excited about - was functional if you wanted to do pool exercises.
Great access to grocery stores, Walgreens etc. The historic part of St. Augustine (a must see) was about 4 miles away.
All the people who worked there were friendly and helpful.
I had a wonderful massage by the therapist Sharon who works at the 2 woman run "spa" next to the tennis club.
A top highlight was seeing a nesting turtle right off one of the beach access boardwalks next to our building.
