This hotel looks new, its 12 years old remodeled 3-4 yrs ago, maintained like Disney and to us was a bargain to get all this under $100. It is 20 min to beach, butt here is an outlet mall at next exit and go North on 95 to Butler exit and an outdoor mall that was awesome about 25-30 min away, there is a Publix on property, you can’t go wrong! Right off i95. Can be a romance getaway that will help score big points!

We celebrated our 1st Anniversary at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. It is a beautiful, clean hotel with great views of the golf course. The food in the hotel restaurant was awesome!

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely views from most of the rooms. Beautiful common areas, esp. off the lobby. Only negative is that the restaurant is apparently not prepared for large groups at breakfast.

We have stayed here before and it wasn't too bad...other than being over priced in every way. This latest trip was a bad one...storms pre-empted TV and Internet access (which I was was charged $12.95 per day for) for part of the afternoon. Then we over run with children....controlling the elevators, running up and down all 9 floors. The hotel staff did try to take control back, but it was already late in the effort. It has been completely redecorated which was nice, but the huge open lobby for 9 floors creates echoes and can be very annoying at night. We tried to dull the noice by putting a towel in front of the bottom of the door. The niceties do not compensate for the high priced drinks and room prices. You could save a bundle by staying at the Comfort Suites nearby. But -- again -- it is beautiful. Our timing just coincided with a youth outing or some sort and it was not pleasant. I just don't think the beauty is worth the price.

Just got back from our Family Vacation to St. Augustine. Considered staying in the Historical district but opted for the Marriott World Golf even though it was about 15-20 minutes away. So glad we did. The place was very clean and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and I am sure my husband would have LOVED to golf but not this trip. If you are looking for golf, you will definitely want to stay here. The pool is very small so it did not appear to be a place for young kids. My girls ages 11 and 13 really liked the hotel. We spent the day sightseeing in downtown St. Augustine and would retreat to our nice room at the the end of the day. The Outlet Malls are just 10 minutes away too.

We recently attended the annual convention for our Fraternal organization at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village and the St. Johns Convention Center. The event was booked for 5 days and this was the best service we have had in years. Our membership (over 1200 in attendance) were delighted with the beautiful rooms, the rates, the food in the dining room, the great food at the many luncheons & banquets but most of all the friendly and helpful staff in both the hotel and convention facility.
