“Hard to find but worth it!”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

It is right on the water. Not fancy. We went for lunch and I had the crab cake basket which was delicious. My husband had the 2-way basket of fried scallops and shrimp. He said it was the best he has ever had. The prices were reasonable. We will go again.

“Best meal ever”
Reviewed April 30, 2013 via mobile

Husband said this was the best meal he's ever had at restaurant. He had all you can eat car legs. I got crab cakes dinner. Very filling and good. Had a little more kick spice than I like but good.

Service was good. We had waiter Chris who was very personable to everyone. A little slow at times but made up with personality.

Patty came by and personally asked how we were and if needed anything. Great atmosphere with live music. Very down to earth and low key. Perfect for us!

“So this is Florida”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

This is an unusual (for us being new to the area) place. It's like a compound with different areas that offer varied experiences.....live music...karaoke...on the water if you sit in that section. Standard fish house fare, nothing too special but to be fair it was lunch, maybe dinner would offer more.

“Great View, Great Atmoshpere, Good food, Service leaves room for improvement.”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

We have been here a few times. Food is pretty good. The grilled Mahi sandwich is awesome. Prices are pretty average. The place is situated at a Marina so it is right on the water. The deck has a beautiful view. Weekend nights they have live music. We enjoyed food and drinks and the atmosphere. The waitress however was no where to be found when we needed drink refills. Took forever to get the check and then to get our change.

“Better than I expected.”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Went here for lunch so I can't comment on the evening or weekend atmosphere, which is probably more of a "dive" scene. If you come here expecting frou-frou food, you are obviously lost.

You can get lots of fried seafood here, but you don't have too. The chowder is excellent, for example.

I had a mahi-mahi sandwich, and on the recommendation of the waitress, I did go with the fried version. It had a thin, unique coating, and was excellent--one of the better ones I've had at any restaurant, regardless of price. The prices overall are excellent by the way.

I did try some of my friends gator bites and they were good--not overcooked as they sometimes are at other places.

My friends also had the chicken wings, which are served with a homemade dipping sauce made with datil peppers--a locally grown chile. It is worth a try--just a little heat at first, that slowly builds up on you.
