Owner description: Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach. Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

Nice, spacious sites tucked into shady trees. We camp here as often as we can. It's a great place for bikes, kayaks, walks along a trail or on the beach. 2 1/2 miles to the lighthouse and a short drive to the old city. Love love love it here!

nature, beach, at its best, if you like undeveloped and unspoiled. But if you want services, they are available too, incl. food and drinks, so it is the best of both worlds.

We went right after hurricane Sandy came through, so no one was there and it was windy. But it was a lovely walk.
There is a hiking trail that is easy and interesting with trees identified along the way.

Saw Buddy Guy/Johny Lang concert here and he was amazing, but more importantly the venue was so impressive. The entire event was directed, easy to get around, great staff, drinks, food, clean restrooms, easy getting in and out of traffic. Will for SURE look for more concerts to see at this venue. Gorgeous venue. Great acoustics.

Very quiet beach that is so much nicer than visiting Central Florida Beaches. Definitely worth the trip!
