I really enjoyed my small group tour of the Ximenez-Fatio House. The guide (a 7th generation St. Augustinian) was very knowledgeable. He not only provided information about the house, but about St. Augustine and the State of Florida's interesting history. The house is under renovation and as a result, we were unable to see some rooms. However, we still saw many rooms of the house, and were provided a discount as compensation. This home is a must-see on your trip to St. Augustine.

This is a MUST SEE in St. Augustine. No goofy ghost stories, this is the real thing. Our tour guide was the most informed and engaging of any I have encountered. He is a ninth generation St. Augustine native with real knowledge of the history and the area. Not reading from a script! You get more than you pay for here. May be difficult to navigate for those who have difficulty with stairs.

If you like history in general make an effort to do this 45 min tour of this age old former boarding house. The property and house are well maintained with period details and furnishings really cool. We learn't alot about not only the area of St Augustine but Florida in general. Highly recommended

We took the tour of this once boarding house. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made us feel as if we had stepped back in time. Each room was furnished with an eye to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The entrance fee was very reasonable for a forty-five minute tour. This is a must see*
