Well worth the admission price with extensive golf history and golf equipment over the years. Admission price also gets you a round on the 18 hole putting course which is real grass and lots of fun!! Gold discount store is very big. Just a lovely complex!

“Must See for Golf Fans”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

First time here! Big facility - the property has 2 golf courses, retirement homes, a big hotel, the museum/hall of fame and a Bill Murray CaddyShack restaurant. You can get three chances to hit a green in the middle of the lake - and if you get a hole in one you get a trip to one of the golf tournaments. There is an 18 hole putting course - all greens! Great fun, and a bit challenging. The hall of fame was hosting a Bob Hope display when I was there; it was the whole first floor and we spent an hour just looking at the displays and watching the video clips. Upstairs was a history of golf, with three museum volunteers who spent time telling us the history of golf, showing us original balls (stuffed with feathers) putters, and simulated putting green. The hall of fame had many familiar faces, and each had a locker with personal items on display. The top turret had examples of many of the trophies of the game, and a huge suspended sculpture that represents a perfect golf swing. When you see it, you'll understand. Plus great views of the property from that height.

“Enjoyable even for a non-golfer.”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

Beautiful facility. Large golf shop with all brands. Museum was interesting and well done. I especially loved the Bob Hope Exhibit and Tribute. Be sure to watch the little film clip with Arnold Palmer.
Nice Nancy Lopez tribute too. Didn't make the hole in one but hey, fun trying!

“True golf fans must see!”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

This has been on the "bucket list" for a while. Definately put it on yours! The displays tell the story and history of golf. Lots of memorabilia, pictures, displays, and short shows. There is a trophy room up in a tower where you see all the major event hardware, coupled with a spectacular view of the grounds. Current inductees have prominent displays. You also get to take a shot at an island green for a prize, and play a putting course for the price of your admission. The staff are helpful and happy to be working there!

“Too much Bob Hope”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Not a whole lot in a very large space. A tribute to Bob Hope comprises perhaps 25% of the space. A wall of bronze likenesses of inductees is a huge exhibit. The replica lockers of the inductees was interesting and offered the only insight into their personas.
