We love stopping here whenever we are in St. Augustine. It is such a peaceful place. The grounds are very nicely kept and it isn't crowded. If you walk all the way to the back you have a very nice view of the intercoastal waterway and the causeway going over to the beach. It is full of history. There is a nice little gift shop if you need religious articles. There is a little chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Le Leche. It is a very nice spot in honor of Mary patron of nursing mothers. This is a nice place to get away from the crowds and the shops and to just be at peace.

Great small attraction,
you get to walk the grounds and see different memorials and read information about it's history. I saw a small snake and a few squirrels hanging around. nice place to visit

This is my favorite spot in St Augustine (so far). It seems to be overlooked by people who aren't into "religious" attractions. This site is incredibly historical, peaceful and FREE!

Set near the water and over a small bridge, this site is tucked back in the shade with plenty of benches, fountains and lawns where people were having a small picnic.

The mission itself is small but gorgeous. There are also stations of the cross and some awesomely old gravestones.

Our family really enjoyed this attraction. Don't skip this!!

This is great if you want to take it easy. Stroll the grounds find a bench and people watch. They have a cute little gift shop and a small shrine for new mothers which is very cute.

A free site within the old city. The mission has been well maintained. We were able to sit and relax while admiring the beauty of this site. Wonderful outdoor gardens lead you to this spot. One of the surprises of our St. Augustine visit.
