FREE !!! this was an amazing place just to enjoy the history,sights,gardens.. They have a church & musuem here also , just head to the beautiful park where u see an enormous cross
Its a Must see we loved so much we were lucky our hotel was less then a mile away so we could visit daily, it made for easy trolley stop if we were in a hurry to return to the hotel, instead of taking trolley to main stop & using shuttle to return to hotel... its like stop 19 or 20/21 on the old city trolley.. Wonderful Area, & did i mention it's FREE !!!!!

This site is wonderful for anyone interested in history, especially Catholics. The church is cozy and special. Walk around the grounds and see the various markers etc. It is free to boot.

We went there on a Sunday and it was absolutely serene. Also, had opportunity to visit the Gift Shop this time and it has many spiritual items at reasonable prices.
Just walking (or sitting on benches) in this area is calming

I am so happy we decided to come to this breathtakingly awesome place. The feeling of serenity and holiness is amazing. It is a very beautiful property, the large cross is so awesome and the mission itself is such a beautiful, holy little building. We very much enjoyed perusing the grounds and gravesites and taking beautiful photos. Admission is free but if you go, please make a donation to go towards the upkeep of this beautiful place.

I was guided to the Mission of Nombre de Dios by following the giant cross in the St. Augustine skyline. I was pleased to find a cemetery nestled underneath the second tallest cross in the world. It is well worth checking out. There are plenty of benches to sit and take all the atmoshpere in.
