This temple is beautiful!!!
Very nice statues and paintings.
Remember to keep a sense of respect for those who go there to pray.

This cathedral is so beautiful. This is a must see. It is right on King Street and easy to find. The mural of the last supper is breathtaking.

Excellent place to see. Beautiful stained glass depicting the stages of the cross. Amazing altar and statues. I enjoyed sitting and admiring the frescoes painted on the ceiling and the beautiful stained glass windows. This cathedral is very reminiscent of old world architecture.

I wish I had known that Wells Fargo opens its parking lot (for free!) to those attending Mass. Parking in the area is expensive and hard to find. Of course, after Mass one must exit the parking lot or be prepared to pay eight dollars.

Mass was lovely, and the musicians actually received an ovation afterward. Even my daughter, who normally is not very interested in history, was awed by the beauty of this cathedral. It is shaped like a cross, which is typical of Spanish mission churches.

A lovely young parishioner and her boyfriend spent about an hour with me after Mass. She personified our faith as she glowed with her love for God and for others. Her openness and friendliness reminds me that the Church is not just an historic building!

Of particular interest to those of the Catholic faith. The church as a organization dates to the 1500s but the current building was built in the 1800s. Previous incarnations were burned by various occupying forces. Pay close attention to the art work and enjoy the organ music.
