“Fun and Relaxing Labor Day”
Reviewed September 6, 2011

My hubby were back at At Journey's End, our home-away-from-home for Labor Day weekend. This time we took our daughter with us so she could have fun in St. Augustine with us. So much to do in the Old Town. This time we went to the Pirate's Museum and the Olde Towne Grocery Store Tim's and John's suggestions. Loved! So much fun! For lunch, we ate two days in a row at the Mayan Cafe and for dinner we ate at Spy twice. We know what we like.....
Speaking of that, I will divulge my favorite room, MY room, and I pout if somebody else gets it before me....That would be Egypt. Bright big bedroom with a kingsized bed and windows overlooking the greenery across the street. It has a large bathroom with spa tub (separate shower)and last for not at all least, the large front porch. We love relaxing on the porch. Our daughter loves the French Boudoir - dainty and romantic.
Tim and John run a friendly, comfortable, clean, inviting inn. They even hosted a margarita night where all of the guests socialized and thoroughly enjoyed each other.
How many times have we stayed at at Journey's End? I have stayed once with my daughter....and at least a dozen times with my hubby :)

THis was our first trip to St. Aug and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. They were both so friendly and very helpful. They arranged our tours, made our reservations....and best of all the breakfast was unbelievable!!!!!!

Cant wait to go back!!!

Room Tip: Awesome!!!

John and Tim were wonderful, friendly, accommodating innkeepers!! They were very helpful in providing maps, directions, good advice on restaurants, and even helping get tickets to our ghost tour.

Food: Breakfast was delicious, and they had great homemade snacks, beer, wine, soda, and water available throughout the day.

Room: We stayed in the Egypt room, huge bathroom and a huge private balcony were great, we enjoyed our breakfast out on our balcony and took in the fresh air. The bed was better than mine at home! The sheets were VERY soft along with the bath towels.

We talked about our wonderful stay all the way home, I would definitely stay again and recommend!!

Tim and John were great hosts. Every morning a special breakfast and they were all great. This is only the second bed and breakfast we have stayed at and it was a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: We stayed in the downstairs room to eliminate the stairs.

Me and my wife have stayed at many B&B's before and you won't find better/more accomodating innkeepers than John and Tim. Whether it was beach supplies, directions, or good restuarants, they had it all.
Food: Breakfast was delicious everyday and they had beer, wine, soda, and water available around the clock.
Room: Stayed in the Egypt room, huge bathroom and huge balcony were a plus. Bed was very, very comfortable.
Location: Close to St. George St. (5 min walk, roughly), beach is a close drive.

WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN OR RECOMMEND TO OTHERS!

My husband and I found the location to be very convenient to everything! The owners were very welcoming and took care of any arrangements we were interested in. The entire experience was great and we would recommend 'At Journey's End" to anyone. We are looking forward to visiting there again. The bed and breakfast is so charming as is the hosts!

We stayed here to break-up our road-trip to South Florida and the Keys. The location is easy to get to, and once there, you don't need to move your car from their off-street parking. You are a short walk to everything there is to see and do in historic St. Augustine. The owners are extremely friendly. They make a very unique and tasty breakfast. And the place is so relaxing, whether enjoying your private porch in a deck chair or the common front porch in a rocker. We'd consider driving to South Florida again just so we could stay here.
