“Best gyros ever!”
Reviewed April 9, 2014 via mobile

Took the family for a casual lunch over Spring Break. Gyros were fabulous. Seriously the best homemade pita bread I've ever had. Warm, soft, and fresh! Meat and tsatsiki sauce awesome as well. Friendly service and complimentary chocolate chip cookies brought out with the bill.

“Pleasant breakfast”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

My husband and I are locals. We've driven past Theo's so many times and decided we needed to try this place for breakfast, as the reviews are pretty good. Both the interior and exterior are unassuming. The service was swift and polite.

I ordered french toast and a side of home fries. The french toast was very good, sprinkled with both cinnamon and a little powered sugar. It looked like the bread was actually hamburger buns (which was a little bit of a turn-off once I noticed it), but I have to admit it made it less soggy. My husband ordered a ham and cheese omelette and corned-beef hash, and he said they were well-made and tasted delicious. Before tip, our total was about $21.00, which is very reasonable.

Overall, we were very pleased with our visit and plan to return.

“Very disappointing”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

After reading about the cinnamon rolls we decided we'd have to check Theo's out. We ordered one to share and it was cool/almost cold. It was so tough that the bread part must have been days old. It shouldn't take a steak knife to cut a cinnamon roll and it shouldn't be so tough that your jaw gets tired chewing. Never the less that is what we had a cold, tough piece of dough. Prices were pretty steep and we most definitely won't be back.

“Don't Judge It By The Exterior”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Nothing fancy. Good food at good prices with good service. There were several traditional Greek dishes in addition to the usual sandwiches, burgers, etc..

Everybody gets a chocolate chip after eating. This is a nice touch.

The decor is gawd awful nautical. It is so overdone you have to smile.

“Theo's”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

Great local breakfast and lunch eatery at the entrance to the Ancient City on King Street. Don't miss the cinnamon buns! Delicious; enough to share. We enjoyed both lunch and breakfast there. Nothing fancy, just good food.
