Upon the advise of our Innkeeper we walked to the tiny restaurant, and it was well worth the trip. We went with the fresh catch of the day which was flounder. I had it in tacos and my partner had it grilled with one of the Catch's many specialty sauces. Incredible was her response. The decor is simple; nothing to write home about. But it is the fish you are there for. The woman serving our meals, the owner perhaps, was delightful and overly accommodating. Of course, we were there between lunch and dinner. Advise you call for reservations if you want a later, more traditional time. The food was plentiful and tasty. We planned to return later in our visit but gut sidetracked.

Excellent food! Very small place, you almost do not want to go into the restaurant. FISH is the best. You must have reservations!! It was closed on Tuesday. This is a must visit when you travel to Saint Augustine, great local place.

The restaurant feels informal, but the food and service are excellent. My husband had the rice bowl with shrimp and I had a grilled snapper sandwich with rice and beans as a side dish. Everything was just delicious, and it was a fun place to be .
I would recommend having a reservation at night , since it is quite a small space and seems very popular.

Catch 27 was recommended to us by a shopkeeper so we opened our umbrellas and ran down St. George to Hypolita. Small, delightful, with minimalistic decor we were seated in the extended portion facing the street. Catch of the Day flounder and meatloaf with a bottle of wine (server gave directions to wine shop a block away), made for a slow and wonderful late lunch.

Small place in a prime tourist location, offered us a table for two at 5:30 or 8:00 when we called same day for reservations. We took the early one, and the place did fill up by the time we left. Perhaps because of the early seating time, the potatoes were undercooked in my Minorcan clam chowder -- a very tasty dish otherwise. We also ordered the daily fish, prepared in "rustic" style with garlic butter and pepper, and it was nicely done and presented. Two of us ate in this BYOB restaurant for about $35 and went away happy.
