“place to go for the sunset”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

The service is usually good and they have good oysters. It is a great place to have a drink and watch the sunset. It is helpful to bring bug spray if you are going to sit outside. Family atmosphere with kids playing on the beach. It has become pricey in recent years and the kitchen is average.

“Wonderful Fresh Seafood”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

This is a great inside/outside restaurant. Husband and the sampler and loved every bit, and I had the parmesan crab cakes and they were out of this world. I also had the key lime cup, which was out of this world. The service was great and prices right.

“If you like crab cakes...”
Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

Great restaurant on the intracoastal with beautiful views. The crab cakes were amazing. Fried flounder was very good. Service was very good as well. It's been a while since our last visit, hope to go back again soon.

“Memorable meal, quality seafood”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

Out with colleagues on a drive down from Ponte Vedra, this came up on the GPS and we stopped on a whim. Were seated outdoors, in hut style seating - great atmosphere.
Friendly waitress, prompt services, and very accommodating with a few menu substitutions.
The appetizers of alligator, and fish nuggets were fresh, well seasoned, and came with some good dip combinations. The oysters were fresh and delicious. We all had seafood of one variation or another - fresh catch (Yellowfin tuna) was tremendously flavorful and properly seared, accompanied by vegetable sides that were fresh and delicious.
Overall a great local dining experience

“Cap's an old time favorite!”
Reviewed October 5, 2012 via mobile

A old time Florida seafood restaurant. Not to be missed. How it can only be 34 in St. Augustine restaurants is beyond me. We have been going here for years. It has gotten pricey but still worth it. Service is almost always excellent. One of those don't miss spots.
