“Good meal and service!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2013

My husband and I ate lunch at the Columbia on the last day of our stay in St. Augustine. We usually order entrée type meals when we go to Columbia this was the first time we ordered sandwiches. We usually go to the Columbia in St. Armand's Circle in Sarasota when we visit there. We started with the 1905 salad which is made tableside. It was delicious. We really enjoy the hot, crusty Cuban bread and butter that they serve. The Cuban sandwiches we ordered are served with plantain chips. We will go back to ordering entrees the next time we go to a Columbia restaurant. The sandwiches were ok but there was not a lot of meat which was disappointing. We expected better. Our server was attentive and all in all it was a good experience.

“Two night getaway”

Excellent place to dine. It is one of those that you can sit and enjoy a long dinner. Service was very good. The server recommend my wife meal, a plantain crusted Mahi Mahi. It was awesome. I ordered the stuffed Grouper, did like it as much.

“The 1905 Salad!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

I went here twice in one week when vacationing in St. Augustine. The 1905 Salad is so spectacular that I had it both times. So flavorful, tangy and garlicy, yum! The warm Cuban bread with butter is amazing. The yellow rice and chicken tastes like someone's Grandmother made it. It just fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. Had a Mojito cocktail too since I had never had one. It was different, very refreshing and came with a sugarcane stirrer.

“Outstanding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

You might never see this excellent restaurant, tucked away as it is on King St., the string of shops and eating places we've come to expect in every tourist town.
If you missed Columbia, it would be a shame. Every element was outstanding: ambiance, service and delicious, reasonably priced food.
