“Excellent surprise!”

Went for a late dinner in the middle of the week. Fairly busy even though it was close to closing time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Sat at the bar by the pizza ovens - awesome! Had shrimp appetizer; very tasty with just the right bite. Garlic bread was fresh and yummy. We had the white pizza, added shrimp and scallops.....the crust was perfect and the pizza was absolutely delicious!

This was our second visit, we also went for lunch. It was great as well! If you are coming to town for a day trip, vacation or live near by; you must stop in and give this place a try!

“Don't be turned off by the exterior!”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

My husband and I were looking for a local spot on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We found 180 Vilano Grill and Pizza on Trip Advisor and thought we would give it a try. When we pulled up, we were wary of the restaurant from it's appearance - a sort of run down looking old house off the beaten path closer to the pier by Vilano Beach. We decided to give it a try and boy, are we glad we did! We were seated promptly, given menus right away, drink orders taken and delivered within minutes. The soup of the day, a mushroom/ truffle oil cream soup was delicious. Our server was knowledgable of the menu and recommended several dishes, including the White Pizza, which I ended up ordering. It was the best pizza I have had in years! My husband ordered the stuffed pizza and was extremely pleased. He raved about it and the bite I stole was excellent. Hurricane Willie, the pizza cook, was awesome. He knows his craft! Overall, we highly recommend this quaint little find and will be returning on our next trip to St. Augustine. Do yourself a favor and stop in! You will be glad you did!

“yummy”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We were so glad when this place reopened. The new owner is hands on. We love the entire staff.. Adam and Meredith are both amazing as well as the other staff. They really take great care of us. The owner Matt will come around and actually ask if everything is ok. NIce touch. The pizza is very good, and they do not chop up the veggies like other places, so the flavor is amazing. Homeade dough too..
I got the chefs special the other day. It was sheephead with risotto and fresh veggie. It was out of this world. The owner agreeded with us that he also loved sheephead and he would keep it as long as he can get it. The fish is fresh. Another nice touch.
Atmosphere is very warm and friendly. They know you by name, what you drink, etc.
Stop in and give it a try as you will not be dissapointed. The remodel is really nice.
Don't forget to try the homeade desserts. yummy yum the coconut cake is amazing. Save room for it or take it home.
overall a nice experience. nice locals and many travlers. If your looking for a local kind of place you have found it.

“Food and service were top-notch”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

My husband and I came for a late dinner on the last night of a 10-day road trip, and what a splendid final meal it was! Hubby had the scallops carbonara and thought he had gone to heaven with that delicious bacon alfredo sauce. He also loved that he could choose his scallop size. I had the fish tacos and requested the fish to be steamed instead of blackened as per normal - the request was honored without hesitation, and the fish was wonderfully fresh and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the cara-bean salad of chick peas, black beans, and kidney beans with a delicate oil-based dressing. I should mention that we were originally coming here for a quick pizza take-out meal, but when we read the other reviews we decided we should plan to stay and try the entrees...I'm sure the pizza was also good, but we were happy with our choice! Our service was great, and the prices were reasonable as well. Just what a couple of weary travelers were looking for, and as a bonus we had yummy leftovers for lunch the next day before we headed home. Thanks for a great meal!
