This was a short stay. We really enjoyed it. The facility is not really near anything unless you are a golfer. It is about a 20 minute drive to historic st Augustine. We had a one bedroom unit. It was very clean the pool was awesome! The kids loved it. They has bike rentals on site for $5 hour. Basketball and tennis were also on site. Activities were not that exciting for teenager. Close to Jacksonville airport. Would stay here again! Our room was lacking a pancake turner! Was supposed to have one! We figured it out in the middle of pancakes! We could have called and asked for one I suppose but we just improvised!

This propery like most Bluegreen properties is nice. Our suite slept three adults and two kids nicely. Take your fishing pole, as thes lakes are full of bass. Location is only 15 minutes from old town St Augustine, and Vilano Beach.

This is my second time staying here. There are a lot of restaurants and the pool, gameroom, and gym and great! There is a wildlife preservation on the property that is lovely.
The restaurants in the World Golf Village are good, and are priced moderately. The breakfast buffet at the Rennaissance Hotel there is a good deal, but some of the places close really early. I forget that St. Augustine is a sleepy town. For a later meal (after 8pm) go to the Historic City. However at a 20 minute drive, I wish it was closer. The grocery stores weren't real close either.
The rooms: newly renovated & clean. Beds: super comfortable!. Spa tub: Excellent. Hot coffee in the lobby: decent. Grills available around the resort for guest use.
There wasn't a safe in the room, as usually found in these resorts. Half the burners on the stove were disconnected. The kids had a great time and wanted to "stay for a month" Ha.
If I were a golfer, I would have rated this property a "5".

This hotel is a 5 minute drive from the I-95. We arrived late but the reception had waited for us. As soon as we had our key they locked the door. We were able to park right outside our block which was Building 2. We had a kitchen, living area with dining table, 1 bedroom with 2 double beds, bathroom, 1 king bed with en-suite in the room. We didn't use any of the facilities here as we were just on a quick stop over, but everything was clean and the kitchen was fully kitted out. The World Golf Village has an Imax cinema, and a pitch and putt golf course. There is an outlet shopping mall just down the road and St. Augustine centre is about 15/20 minutes drive away. St. Augustine is definitely worth a visit. It's about 45 minutes from Jacksonville Airport.

As a Bluegreen owner staying mostly at Big Cedar in MO and The Fountains in FL (both awesome!), I was not impressed with this facility. The grounds were nice and the pool was average, but the room itself felt dated. The carpet was shredding in certain places and bubbling in others. The kitchen was clean, but the dish towels and hot pads looked like they were several years old! The bathroom was average, but the toilet was hard to flush and was SO LOUD - would wake you up if anyone had to go during the night! Also, the handle would snap back up so hard and fast that it actually hurt your wrist! My kids hated to flush the toilet! The stairways leading up to the unit had rust in areas which cheapened the "luxury" feel of this resort. We had an adjoining unit because we had invited my husband's family and they weren't too impressed, either, which was kind of embarrassing as we had wanted to give them a great vacation experience. It definitely would not have induced them to buy a timeshare, that's for sure. Also, although the golf course and grounds were really nice, this property is far from the beach and it was inconvenient to have to drive back and forth so much.

All in all, this was just a mediocre resort for me. Clean unit, just very dated. Next time we will go back to the The Fountains in Orlando (loved it!) or one of the resorts in Panama Beach.

Where do I start when it comes to describing this resort?! Amazing! I stayed in a 1 bedroom with 1 friend. We had separate beds, a jacuzzi bath tub in a nice size bathroom, a washer & dryer, etc. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. By far, the largest pool I have ever seen! As always with Blue Green, the employees were incredibly helpful. I will definitely be back!

Room Tip: I loved staying in building 1 because it was convenient to everything.

Apt./condo-style living in lovely golfers' paradise. Spacious, comfortable bdrm., living rm, kitchen, bath & in-room washer/ dryer (handy for week or longer stay) -- overlooking scenic golf course.

Preferred location if you don't need to be in heart of Historic St. Augustine downtown & prefer spacious/open feel (& golf). WGV's serene, comfortable, open location is ideal jumping off point to beach & downtown (approx. 20-30 min.)

Plenty of nearby eateries to choose from or prepare home-cooked meals (nearby Publix for groceries).

Updated accommodations won't disappoint & you may prefer the self-sufficiency/ privacy of maintaining your own quarters (if you choose not to pay additional for housekeeping).

(Avoid un-renovated suites (unless you enjoy grumbling) -- functional, but why settle for less.)
