We docked our pontoon and stayed here for a night. Room was clean, comfortable and really nice. It was affordable with even a 10% discount for our stay bc of docking there. Got a free breakfast and a nice restaurant was next door. Definitely stay again. Staff friendly too!

Room Tip: King bed garden view room #15 was wonderful

Just got back from a two night stay. The Inn is great! Close to beach, as we,l as the historic downtown area. The views from the balconies are breathtaking! I would recommend this place and would stay there again!

Room Tip: Take a walk across the Vilano Bridge....great exercise with a wonderful view

We were in Room 17 and don't have a single complaint about it. This is a pet-friendly room with wood and tiled floors, an extremely comfortable bed (wonderful sheets), a futon & love seat, and a nice patio outside. A hair dryer, iron, ironing board and a white-noise-maker machine were all in the room. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast at Fish Tales is included. We'd definitely stay here again. A note regarding the patio umbrella - I was putting it up and the first thing I saw was a gecko. No big deal - they are all over Florida & frankly, once you've had one run up your skirt, you are pretty much over any squeamishness regarding geckos. I can still feel it's little nails run up my leg...anyways, I didn't mind the gecko. The first little white frog I saw under there caused me a little concern, the next one, I decided I didn't really want the umbrella up after all. My husband later said "should I put up the umbrella?". I said "sure" and strolled inside. Once the frogs are poked, they release their little suction cup feet and hop away but they do come back to their umbrella the next time it is down. We'd definitely stay in 17 again, just letting you know of the umbrella residents so you're not surprised.

Secluded luxury in a pet friendly environment. Very nice & quiet on the harbor. Very friendly, professional staff. All the amenities and privacy for quests. Breakfast included with a great view of the harbor. Plenty of parking spaces.

Room Tip: Garden view rooms are great for pets. Grassy area outside doors.

This place is very nice for the price and the view and location are wonderful. Close to downtown and even closer to the tour trolley and train parking. A1A is 5 minutes away with the gas stations, drug store, etc. it is right on the Causeway to Vilano Beach. A quick trip to walk those beaches and watch the sunset from the restaurants.

As ar as the accomodations, it is a few steps above motel. The attempt to add luxury is evident and almost succeeds. Sheets were soft and pillows and blankets were great. Large refrigerator and microwave and generous coffee service. Breakfast in Fish Tales was very good and the grocery store/breakfast spot fit into the spirit of the area. Much better than the usual chrome and Formica. I DO HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE COMMENTS REGARDING THE BATHROOMS. WHILE I DIDN'T EXPECT MUCH OF AN UPGRADE THERE, THE GROUT AND CORNERS OF THE FLOOR NEED A LOT OF ATTENTION.

All in all, I would stay again.

Very clean, beautiful room. View of the marina was gorgeous. The jacuzzi was very clean & worked well. The bed was comfortable. Loved the balcony, but they should warn people of the step down - I almost fell because it is quite a drop.

The inn is a little dated, but kept up very well. The only complaint I have is that the shower head had no pressure & the bathroom could stand to be updated.

It was nice to get free breakfast at Fish Tales - nice perk.

Thank you for your review! We are happy that you enjoyed your stay, and will take your comments on updating the bathroom under consideration, and pass on to the owner. Regarding low water pressure, we have never had an issue about that come up in the past, so it is possible that our water company was doing some maintenance (that did happen recently), which caused the water pressure to drop for a while.

Thank you for including your photos, as well!!

We stayed here last January 2012 and loved everything about this hotel. Traveling with a dog, often the reasonably priced hotels are disappointing. We thought this Inn was terrific. Unable to book the same room as last year , we were pleased an upper level room with harbor view was available. This 2-room suite had everything you need . It had a separate room with bar/ coffee set up , sofa, chair, big screen tv and four top table. It also had a nice deck with furniture . But I must agree with previous reviewer, the decor was dated and tired. And the room was not nearly as clean as we experienced last year. It is an easy five minute drive into town. And the Kingfisher restaurant next door serves delicious seafood ...attested to by the full house of locals ( 2012 and 2013). I would stay here again but could not recommend as enthusiastically as I did last year.

We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your room as much on this trip! All of our rooms are different, and some may not appeal as much to one guest as they would to another. We all have different taste in style and design, and our innkeepers try to match up any guest request with the best room for them, based on availability. We also like to remind our guests that photos of every room are available 24/7 on our website.

We hope that you will stay with us again, and we will do our best to put you in the perfect room for your stay!
