Our room was nicer than expected. It was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was nicely presented. We brought it outside and ate in the courtyard. Great location.

The location was the best. Right in old town St. Augustine, you can walk anywhere in old town. there are shops, restaurants, and all the history within walking distance. The staff was great, the room was not luxury but very nice and clean. Just like the pictures. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone.

The good of it: attentive & super friendly staff, good location (albeit a bit hard to find since the entrance is in the middle of a pedestrian area).

The bad of it: the single lumpiest, most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on. The walls are a bit on the thin side, but not unbearable. No safe in room.

It isn't awful, but for the price, I expected much better -- at least a comfortable night's sleep. I could have found better value in a nearby mid-level chain hotel.

very nice hotel right downtown. Walk to everything. VERY nice staff. Modest free continental breakfast.
St Augustine wakes up early to get ready for the tourist trade so be ready for the street sweeper and 8am trolly.

Room Tip: A room not facing the main street (Orange) may be a little quieter

While I would not consider the rooms to be deluxe and the breakfast is your basic continental, the location and the St George staff are certainly top drawer. As we pulled up in front, they scrambled out to retrieve our luggage and directed us to the local parking structure (situated a block and a half away). They led us to the room we requested but also showed us a larger and better room, which we took. We had our child with us, and they had outfitted it with a nice air bed for him.

The shared balcony of the room (number 22) looks out over the old gates of the town, across the Castillo de San Marcos to the water. The other room is around the corner, so it's essentially a private balcony. As the room is situated on the street side (away from the throng on St George St), we had a quiet night's sleep.

Everything you could possibly want to see in Saint Augustine is within a stone's throw.

Some may consider it a tad pricey considering the amenities, but you can't beat the convenience and the service. The innkeeper is omnipresent should you have any problems.

Room Tip: Room 22 worked for us. Nice view from balcony and quiet.

Besides being a quaint place to stay, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The owner is a walking encyclopedia who has great recommends (and stories therewith) for historic sites, restaurants, beaches, etc.--Kris and Karen

Room Tip: rooms 25 and 42 with balconies overlooking both water and historic sites are great choices

We are regulars of the St. George Inn, but this was our first time in one of the suites. It took a number of years on the waiting list to finally get one!! We will roll it over every year from now on along with the folks in the other two suites, but other rooms are available and it is the perfect place to spend the 4th of July.

The Suites are perfect, comfortable, big balconies facing the fireworks above the Castillo, and the biggie? YOUR OWN ICE MAKER!!! That is a wonderful thing to have during a Florida summer day. Rocking chairs, robes, a whirlpool tub, comfortable bed, a refrigerator, all right in the heart of the ancient city.

I recommend the St. George to anyone wanting a wonderful place to stay where you can put your car in the city parking garage,( included with your room), and never get back into it until you are ready to go home.

Not the cheapest place in town, but hands down the best.

Room Tip: If you prefer quiet nights, go for a room overlooking the courtyard. If like us, you love to sit on...
