We love this place! We have stayed at St. George Inn twice, the last time was in Feb 2013. The rooms are spacious and have a lot of character. Most rooms have large balconies with rocking chairs - perfect for a glass of wine before dinner! The inn is located in the heart of the pedestrian way and is in walking distance of all the shops and restaurants.
Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the pedestrian way or the courtyard.

A perfect place to stay and explore St Augustine. The staff were superb and extremely helpful. The rooms were very modern and attention to detail was quite evident. The location is quaint overlooking a square with little shops. We would certainly come back

This was definetly an indulgence! Was pricey but worth it for the charm and location. By far the best place that was dog friendly for touring St. Augustine. I loved the duel balconies. The view was incredible and the room bright open and airy. Easy walking distance to everything. No pool but i don't think that was a negative. Visit St. Augustine in between thanksgiving and end of January to enjoy the "nights of lights". The harbor, town center and many public buildings are decorated in beautiful white lights
Definetly do the trolley tour. You get to see all the main attractions and get on and off as many times as you'd like over the three days. The town was really dog friendly...they even let my pups in the Fountain of Youth and all the exhibits. Harry's restaurant and Mojo grill were both great. Harry's was dog friendly and had the best she crab soup. Great vacation! If you like New Orleans, you'll love St. Augustine.

Room Tip: Honestly I don't think you could possibly get a bad room. The whole hotel is beautiful!

Expensive, but excellent location for sightseeing, shopping, restaurants. One tip: room in corner with balcony facing cemetery is really nice. But, weekends are noisy at night. A bar is right next door to the hotel; however, we heard nothing after 10pm!
To unload luggage & check-in, you pull up into yellow lines & staff helps unload & are so friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay!

Walk out of your room and find yourself in the Historic district. Located at the gates of the city and a 1 minute walk to the Fort-doesn't get much more convenient... The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Some people may not be comfortable with the way anyone can walk up a flight of stairs and be at your door-the stairs empty into public areas...I found it odd at first, but had no issues during our 3 night stay. The continental breakfast was fine for us, bagels, muffin bread, yogurt, good coffee, cold cuts and cheese. We will stay here again.

Recently stayed with friends in the "Castillo Suite". The staff couldn't have been more gracious and helpful and the room was lovely, very clean & even the couch was comfortable. We had nice views & enjoyed people watching from the porch rockers. The location is perfect for exploring, so convenient to everything that we never moved the car after parking. Walked everywhere or took the trolley. The only drawback was music from nearby restaurants that was a little loud but didn't really bother us except for one person in the party. It all got quiet around midnight. Breakfast was very nice & sufficient and we enjoyed sitting outside even though it was a little cool. Our first time here & we look forward to coming again!

Room Tip: Four friends can easily be comfortable in the Castillo Suite!
