Expensive, but excellent location for sightseeing, shopping, restaurants. One tip: room in corner with balcony facing cemetery is really nice. But, weekends are noisy at night. A bar is right next door to the hotel; however, we heard nothing after 10pm!
To unload luggage & check-in, you pull up into yellow lines & staff helps unload & are so friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay!

Walk out of your room and find yourself in the Historic district. Located at the gates of the city and a 1 minute walk to the Fort-doesn't get much more convenient... The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Some people may not be comfortable with the way anyone can walk up a flight of stairs and be at your door-the stairs empty into public areas...I found it odd at first, but had no issues during our 3 night stay. The continental breakfast was fine for us, bagels, muffin bread, yogurt, good coffee, cold cuts and cheese. We will stay here again.

Recently stayed with friends in the "Castillo Suite". The staff couldn't have been more gracious and helpful and the room was lovely, very clean & even the couch was comfortable. We had nice views & enjoyed people watching from the porch rockers. The location is perfect for exploring, so convenient to everything that we never moved the car after parking. Walked everywhere or took the trolley. The only drawback was music from nearby restaurants that was a little loud but didn't really bother us except for one person in the party. It all got quiet around midnight. Breakfast was very nice & sufficient and we enjoyed sitting outside even though it was a little cool. Our first time here & we look forward to coming again!

Room Tip: Four friends can easily be comfortable in the Castillo Suite!

We stayed in the Catillo Suite overlooking the fort, and the view was awesome. The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring St. Augustine. The room was well appointed, and spacious with a king bed in the bedroom with a pull out sofa in the livingroom. It was great to be able to walk to everything, especially the fort roght across the street. The only downside was the noise from the bars on either side went on until almost 1:00 AM.

Right downtown at the end of St. George St., location cannot be beat. Very nice room in excellent condition and the staff was pleasant and friendly. Walk to any of ythe downtown attractions or catch the "train" that circles the downtown area.

The front desk staff was great and the room was clean, but the noise is UNBEARABLE!!!! I've been checked in for 3 hours and its just too loud. I hear people on the street below as if they are in my room. Not recommending the Castillo Suite.

we stayed in this great inn with our friends over the New Year.We both stayed in Pinta rooms, which were clean and well appointed,Okay at cerytain times you could hear people moving about but what would you expect in a building this old? We think the noise levels are only what you would expect from a central location. The staff helped us to book a meal in the Raintree resturant after we were badly let down by the Cellar 6 and what a nice meal we had.
We were able to phone our families in England and Panama city (Florida) free of charge and they even came to my friends room to make sure she got her call through to England .The day before we left they printed our flight boarding passes .The staff were just so friendly and helpfull.
Thankyou all for a great stay
