Went on the 11AM Saturday cruise, expecting it to be crowded, but there were plenty of empty seats. Parked on the street--bring lots of change! Sat upstairs and caught a nice breeze. Saw some dolphins. Captain had good info and the cruise was just the right length for 3 school-age kids. Took nice photos of the lighthouse at the turnaround point. Will do this cruise again.

The scenic cruise was a fun and relaxing part to our day. There are different times for the cruise and we went on the cruise at 11:00am. The weather was not it's best as it was a bit drizzly and overcast. We started our tour on the top deck. The top is opened air. You can sit at tables or individual chairs but the great thing is that everything can be moved, so larger groups made the tables for 4 into tables of 7.The staff was very friendly on this tour. There is a guide who tells you about different places and facts in St. Augustine. He does not talk too much or too little, but just right. he would explain some sights for about 5 minutes and then maybe didn't talk again for 10 minutes. This was nice because we had some beer and wine and could chat among ourselves and enjoy the ride until he directed us to look at something new. The cruise has a small stand that sells, beer, wine, champagne, sodas, water and snacks. There are also restrooms. Once the rain became heavy, we spent the second half of our cruise downstairs. It was covered and kept us dry. From the windows at that level, we could see the dolphins swimming around the area. It was a new and different way to see St. Augustine and we had a great time and would do it again.

Now I like to relax as much as the next guy; and this ride is good for that. It sounds like the Captain has a lot of information to share, but to me, it was very difficult to hear and understand over the engine noise; so I decided it wasn't worth the effort.

Once I dismissed the very low audible speaker, the ride is very relaxing. Strap your hat on and put on the sunscreen and head up on the top outdoor deck for the best panoramic views. You can sit on movable chairs or with a table indoors with good, but less visibility. If you're early to board you can sit in front downstairs for a great view also.

I love getting out on the water and learning the local stories; so it would get a better rating if the Captain could be easily heard.

This is a nice way to view the city from the water and a good way to end the day with the evening cruise.

Be sure to print off the 1/2 off coupon from your computer before you go there AND be sure to join their Frequent Floater Club. When you pay for seven trips, you get one trip free! You have to ask the man at the ticket booth for a card for it.

Be patient. He is an elder man and a bit slow but nice person. Took three times for him to understand what I wanted and he finally gave me the card. He does things with pen and paper (got to love that!) and is not in a rush.

The cruise is about 1 hr 15 minutes and you can ride inside or upper deck.

They have water, soda, beer and wine for sale (reasonable prices) and some snack food.

We actually took this cruise twice! Once in the morning, and once in the evening!!

The staff was FANTASTIC!! The evening cruise was a little more cowded, my guess is because its "sunset"... but regardless, we had a great time! Kicked back with a beer and enjoyed the peaceful cruise on the water while on the top deck of a riverboat... GREAT way to spend an hour an a half of our day!

The price i think is fairly reasonable for the views of the islands from the water perspective!

Will DEFINITELY do this again next time we are there!! :)
