“A great tour”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

Took the Vittles and Vino tour. Jenn, our host, was fantastic. Lots of great info on the city, and some really great restaurants and wine. Kurt, our driver, was a blast. Lots of fun, will do it again on our next trip to St. Augustine.

If you're looking for a good way to discover some good places to eat or to get a nice bottle of wine, or just a good tour, give them a try.

“vittles and vino VIP Tour”

Great tour and wine and food. Jennifer, Kurt, and Susie Q were great. Amazing people and an amazing time was had. Our party of two couples met with three other couples and had fun through out. Great restaurant selection and wine pairings. Highly recommend this for either special occasions or just a great time out. Thanks to The Tasting Tours for a great, fun time.

“A great Ladies Day Out activity”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

College friends went to St Augustine for a long weekend, We signed up for a wine tour with The Tasting Tours and were lucky enough to get Amanda Hopcraft as our host. The tour was delightful. Amanda gave us some great back story to St. Augustine's history, and a fun tour of different sites. Amanda was knowledgeable, generous with her time and stories, and also introduced us to great local people who operated shops and restaurants. Jeff and Bella were shop owners who were fantastic, and we loved the stop for macaroons. We also did an olive oil and vinegar tasting - a new experience for all of us. The tour was as explained on their web site, but Amanda was a real bonus, PLUS she and her husband have a mobile salon business, so you could get massages, manicures and salon services too. We pried this info out of her after about our third stop, she did not push her services on us. The Gifted Cork has very fun merchandise as well as wines for sale, and the staff was super. Ask for Amanda if you do a wine tour.

“Vittles, Vino and Very Much Fun”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

We spent a lovely Friday afternoon on April 26th with Jennifer and Curt and Susie Q exploring and tasting wonderful surprises throughout Old St Augustine in the company of great folks. The restaurant choices were excellent and we had a great history lesson as well. Everyone we met was pleasant and charming. And our hosts couldn't have been any better. Our weather was beautiful and it was the best way to wind up our week's vacation before heading home to New York. We WILL come back for the food and drink was terrific but our tour guides were the BEST

What a fun way to spend the afternoon. We took in the Vittles and Vino tour on April 21, the two of us and five other guests. There was certanly ample wine for the tasting and we even learned a thing or two about french wine. The food was excellent throughout the tour. Mandy was a great hostess and guide, very friendly and approachable. If you are visiting the area for longer than just a few days we would recommend that you schedule the tour early during your visit. You will learn about the history of St. Augustine and also familiarize yourself with the downtown area. The stops along the tour are very unique and you may want to revisit them later during your stay - so go early. Dress is casual. If the forcast calls for rain you may get wet during the carriage ride.
