We visited here during the week. This is a great place to spend some time during the afternoon which I bet is their busiest time. The displays are real and interesting. I learned a lot about the pirate life that you won't see in a movie. They have several displays from the Smithsonian Institute which are on loan. They have some computer stations set up to read about the history of the pirates through time. One display is an actual full size pirate flag.
This is a noisy place because kids will be kids. If you're expecting peace and quiet, you're gonna be disappointed. We expected noise and still had a great time there. The store they have has just about everything you would need to be a pirate yourself . The cost? I believe the adult ticket was $11 or $12 and kids 5 up $5 or $6. Check the website to be sure.

Thank you for coming to visit and for experiencing the 800+ artifacts that we have on display. It's true, the museum can get a bit rowdy during the busy Summer months, but I'm glad that you were still able to enjoy what he have on display, as well as our interactive exhibits.

Our current rates are $13.99 for Adults and $6.99 for kids aged 5-12, but we do have a number of discounts available for Military, AAA, and Senior citizens. We also have coupons in a wide variety of local publications.

Thank you so much for taking time to spend with us, we appreciate it!
