This restaurant was recommended by a volunteer in the Lietner Museum. We were there on a three-day weekend so St. Augustine was packed. Reservations well in advance are a must. There is some complementary parking which was a welcomed surprise. The waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the wine, menu selections and specials. My wife had pork tenderloin and I had the lamb. The presentation was almost a good as the meal itself. The house salad was excellent with the scallion dressing. We also had an excellent desert with berries, custard and a demi-glaze.
The restaurant is small and at the front of an inn. There is a small bar for desired libations. The tables are situated on two levels such that the discussion at one table does not interfere with adjacent tables. One group of about eight were fairly close to us but did not interfere with our enjoyment of the dining experience.
This was the most memorable dining experience we had on our 12-day visit to Florida. We had simply marvelous food in a quiet atmosphere. We would recommend this restaurant very highly. It was a bit pricey but you definitely received a good value for the expense.
