Had the fish tacos and the best Key lime pie. We always stop for a meal and the Key lime pie.
View was great. Every time we are in the St Augustine area we make sure to eat at Mantnzas

We were in a hurry so we chose this little place by the road. The restaurant is quite shabby and old, but I guess that is part of the charm. The coffee cups we got was stained and looked dirty. We ordered and waited for about 35 minutes before we got our food. We were starting to get pretty impatient. The food however was really tasty!!
if you sit outside you'll have a great view of the ocean.

Nine of us, family and friends, along with a 90 year old grandmother and young twentyish folks all went here for dinner on a Wed. night for the music and watch the sunset, dinner was kind of icing on the cake. We had a great time. Even though the "tables" were picnic tables on the deck we had a great time visiting, watching the sunset over the water, listening to the live music and eating our dinner. The dinner was good although not fresh caught, still good. We also appreciated the gluten free menu options. The server was fun, congenial, and courteous; even when we tried to "split up" the check with some paying cash others with Cards 7, in fact. I feel she bent over backwards trying the accommodation of our Method of payments. I think we all enjoyed it so much because it wasn't just going out to dinner; it was a dining adventure combining eating out with entertainment: more bang for our bucks in this economy. Would go back again if I could eat outside again. Inside was a little dim and bar like.

We have been going to Matanza Inlet Restaurant for the past 3 years for our anniversary. We enjoy sitting outside on the water...eating..just enjoying the great food. This year, on our anniversary, we returned. To our disappointment the menu had changed and the service. The service was extremely slow, the food selection was small with no selection of multi seafoods (I.E., shrimp and oysters together)....and the waitresses seemed more concerned with getting water for the dogs that were on leashes with their owners who were eating lunch than taking care of other patrons. We will definitely find someplace else to celebrate our 28th anniversary next year!!! What a disappointment!

Possibly the worst food I have ever been served at any dining establishment. Don't GO. BAD BAD BAD. If you feel you need to. Have a beer and enjoy the view. JUST DON'T EAT.
