Just pure smoked meat. We stopped on the way back from Orlando. Just a few miles off I-95. Read the reviews and just had to try it out. This is purely takeout. We pulled up to a small shack in front of a kangaroo gas station. The minute I opened my door, my nose was blasted with smoking meat smell. I knew this was a winner. Walked in and was warmly greeted by the son of the owner. Then around the corner comes the father. What a nice guy. We ordered the Beef brisket andwich and a smokin bean side. I always judge a BBQ house by the brisket. If the brisket isn't a dried out chewy mess, then the rest will be good. The kids had chopped pork sandwiches and coleslaw. The son pulled the brisket right out to the smoker. I yelled give me the burn't ends. We had their sweet home made sauce. Ate it in the car The brisket was tender and juicy with just the right amount of smoke. I could tell it had been slow cooking all day. The sauce was as good as I have had. The beans were spicy and loaded with flavor. Coleslaw needed a bit more juice as it was a bit dry.
I was tempted to go back in for another, but after finishing the beans, that was enough to get me full.
This small place packs so much flavor, it is as good as any BBQ you will find in Florida. We will be back!!!
