We just returned from our visit from St. Augustine. So glad I checked out this site for Restaurants reviews prior to going as I would have never gone here. The place is very small and somewhat hidden. Although it does not have the ambiance of other restaurants, the food rocks. So fresh and authentic. My daughters loved the Fruit Smoothies and the Chicken Quesadillas were delicious - best I have ever had. We also had a pressed Cuban and some Sandwich with Skirt Steak - can't recall the name. The chips and salsa were good too. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch and look forward to returning on our next visit to St. Augustine.

“What we did get was delicious....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2010

We were very excited to eat here. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We ordered the guacamole and salsa and conchito pibil for our meal. We never saw the guac and salsa eventhough we reminded the server twice. Literally walked up to the counter for the check. The pibil was fab but they were very unorganized and overwhelmed. The restuarant is very small and they had a lot of people working. Hope they can get it together...food is promising. Owner/manager slayed our waiter right in front of us - not very professional.

“The best lunch we had on our visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2010

We really enjoyed the fresh food. The flavors were delicious from the blue corn chips with house made sauce to the delicious sandwiches we ordered 1 cuban & 1 Mayan. They were both good but the Mayan was my favorite.
My 5 year old loved th eblack bean soup. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was wonderful.
Even the ice teas was good.
Will definitely go again next time we are in town

“Great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2010

Based upon Tripadvisor and other sources tried Casa for lunch recently. Great quacamole and fish tacos. A must for visitors to the Old Town area. Service can be a little spotty as befits a "mom and pop" operation but overall an entirely satisfactory experience.
