This place has old town charm with five star appeal. I have traveled and been to big cities and this place has it all and stepped up it's game the right way. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, the chef's presentation was fabulous along with they are all fresh and organic and even have gluten free dishes!
The other big thing they have that not a lot of other places have is a two story wine cellar with amazing selections of wine by the glass and bottle. Plus a full liquor and martini bar too! We started with the sushi seared ahi tuna tacos. OMG! Next we ordered the pan seared sea bass over garlic truffle mash and grilled asparagus and a boursin filet with the boursin cheese sauce over mash and vegetables. Can't tell you how good both were! We paired it with a bottle of duckhorn cabernet and a bottle of third wife chardonnay. Dessert was homemade bread pudding with Jameson drizzled over the top. Lights out!
The band was The Evan Brothers who were so good we could not believe we were not at a concert. Also they have a big local following and a good mix of tourists so that told me someone is doing the right way. Our server Chris was polite and awesome. And last when you see the owner and the GM saying thanks to tables and guests...that was the icing on the cake for us. Can't wait to go back and I would say one of the best for sure in Saint Augustine! Our sever Chris said they have live music seven night a week and a great happy hour as well. A must go and never leave until the light come on at 2am. Great staff, value, great food and just plain GREAT!
