Description: Created after the California Wine Bar trend back in 2008, our quaint family owned and operated restaurant serves St. Augustine’s only Urban Cuisine in a casual upscale environment. We started out as a cozy wine bar serving tapas to compliment the wine featuring local artists artwork displayed on our walls. Based on customers overwhelming response we evolved to be a full-service restaurant and bar. Original pieces of wood from a 100-year-old barn in Maryland trim the bar, entryway, and hallway keeping with the old-world feel of St. Augustine. Guests also enjoy the contemporary aspects of Cellar 6 including touches of modern lighting, chalkboard art work, and furnishings. It is our goal at Cellar 6 to provide an inviting environment to enjoy dinner and conversations with those important to you with excellent service. Cellar 6 attracts the young and old, locals and tourists. The restaurant in open daily at 4:30 pm for dinner.

This was really good food, fresh and imaginative. I felt like the chef was fixing food that he would like to eat himself. The menu was small but everying on it was appealing. Great wine list and good server too. We ate outside and it is a quiet street with lots of atmosphere.

The food was excellent. The members of our party had the a combination of the nightly specials, such as the salmon salad, and regular menu items, like the black and bleu burger. The food was incrediblky well priced. The service, further, was excellent. There was also a musician playing at the front of the restaurant the evening we were there who was just fantastic. However, the prices for wine were a little too steep. For example, a bottle of Oregon A-Z Pinot Noir, normally $20 in most grocery stores and $30 at most wine bars, was approximately $46. When your customers have to settle for something less than what they'd like to drink to save money then you know it's time to bring your alsohol prices back to a more realistic level.

I have been to Cellar 6 about 4 times now and I am always impressed with the live music, and the food is amazing. The Ahi tuna is my favorite. I highly recommend this wine bar for a fun night out!!

It is hard to write this review. The food was outstanding and service was above average yet there seemed to be something lacking in the total dining experience. It impresses more as a wine bar than a fine dining restaurant. No regular tables were inside just high tables and fancy stools. No linen, no bread, and no salad added up to below average value. We were seated, fed, and ready to go in 40 minutes which was fine given there was nothing calling us to linger any longer.

This was our first visit to St Augustine and to Cellar 6. We liked the atmosphere when we arrived on a Sunday evening and it was still early. We had a couple of really good martinis and started with a small ceasar and Cellar house salad, both were very good. From there we ordered a margarita flat bread pizza that was nice and crispy and the stuffed portabellos, which were also very good. One in our party ordered a burger and she said it was excellent. We also ordered the fish tacos, which were the only exception to a very good meal. The fish inside the tacos was fried hard and some pieces we were unable to chew! Nice place for a younger crowd, it got really loud at by the end of our meal. Great place for cocktails and tapas.
