Both young and old will enjoy this attraction. It was shady and included not just alligators but birds, snakes, monkeys, turtles, etc. You could easily spend the morning meandering around the farm. One of the best attractions the city has to offer.

We visited with our 23 month old granddaughter. We had a great time and it was not crowded. There were great viewing areas even for toddlers. The playground area was a great place to spend a little while so little ones can play. We enjoyed the birds as well as all the gators! Our only suggestion would be for some "hands on" activities for little ones.

I usually don't like zoos because I feel bad for the animals. I'm not sure how or why the alligators were there (maybe they were rescue animals?) but there seemed to be too many of them for the area they were in. It was kind of expensive for what it was, but worth it to see the birds. The local birds hang out over the alligator pens because no predators will come to that area. We saw some awesome Rosy spoonbills and other large birds.

As fascinating as the alligators and crocodiles are, the real treat here is the rookery on the back side of the alligator farm. Spoonbills, herons, wood storks and egrets make there nests in trees here, and the alligators actually serve to protect those nests by eating rats and snakes that might be predators. An odd relationship, but it works. And the birds fill those trees. Walkways through the rookery get you within 25 feet of these magnificent birds. Bring your cameras!

How many alligators does it take for you to say.."enough already".

After a short period of time, seeing hundreds of alligators doing absolutely nothing but lay around, one begins to feel that there is too much sameness to this place.

However, it is interesting to see white gators and the differentiation between crocks and gators is worth noting, but beyond that, not much else.

This is one attraction that you have to see once.
