It was okay. Not as thrilling as we anticiapted from what we had read. It's worth a one time visit. Make sure to get a discount coupon in the travel guide magazine at each shoppe in downtown.

This tourist attraction has been around for decades and over time has expanded the variety of attractions far beyond just alligators. Numerous alligators can be viewed from a walkway above, and there are many exhibits of other reptiles and many tropical birds, including those migrating through the area. There are wildlife demonstrations that are well done. We have brought many adults and children from the ages of 3 up for visits, many of them returning everytime they come to visit us. A great and unique way to spend several fascinating hours. Great value for your tourist dollars.

You can see alligators and other reptiles, birds, monkeys and so much more. Cost is a bit pricey, but well worth the visit. You can find a coupon online or in one of the many St. Augustine attractions brochures. This is my second visit to St. Augustine and the alligator farm was definitely on my list of things to do. One of the beach shuttle stops for the trolley makes getting there convienent. They offer some wildlife shows and feeding demo shows throughout the day. We spent at least a few hours but didnt stop and see everything in detail. The bridge across the large alligator pond was amazing. Alligators of all sizes. We were fortunant to be there when all of them started making weird noises like a growling sound. We were told because it had warmed up after a cold spell they gators thought it was mating season. Fun for all ages. A must do when you visit. The alligator farm is within comfortable walking distance to the lighthouse.

The Alligator farm is actually a zoo. There are more than just alligators and it's a lot of fun for people who love animals. There are some really interesting species on display so the biologist in me was thrilled. It will take you only a few hours to go through but it's a lot of fun. There aren't any restaurants on site so don't plan on going during meal time. The albino gators are a must see!
