My husband and I happened upon this B&B and were lucky they had an opening. We stayed in the "Palm" for two nights. Rooms are warm and inviting Beverly Lou and the entire staff are friendly and kind. The breakfast was amazing. If you need to refuel your soul .... this is the place to stay. We will deffinatly be back.

The house was beautiful and each room is unique and really enjoyed our jacuzzi tub and all the personal touches (hot tea & coffee outside our room in the morning before breakfast, as well as cold drinks to take with us on our tour of the city). Everything you would want to see is in walking distance and the hospitality is outstanding. The blueberry bread pudding with rum sauce was amazing..thank you for making our anniversary so special

I have never been a B&B guy but my wife continues to try them. October 19, 2012 we stayed at Centennial House in St. Augustine. What a great place! There was no old & musty feeling, no claustrophobic collection of dirty & stifling antiques, although there were some, just a nice, clean & pleasant lobby & dining room area. Our room, "Oliveros" was wonderful, the bed was a King size as advertised, very soft & comfortable sheets. The Innkeeper, Beverlee, is a character-wonderfully accomodating but not motherly or standoffish; great stories! Breakfast was amazingly creative & delish!

We will be going back to stay here for more than one night soon at such an awesome place! I am now a B&B Convert- at least for the Centennial House!

Room Tip: We stayed in the 'Oliveros' which is downstairs on the main level. While there are rooms above us, we encountered no noise from either above us or outside in the lobby area. The location is in the historical district within walking distance to everything.

We stayed one night for our 15th wedding anniversary. Beverlee was very accommodating and friendly. The location is great... within walking distance of almost everything in historic downtown St. Augustine. The bed was comfortable. The rooms and the house were clean and tidy. Each room has its own a/c thermostat. There's a cute sun porch with round tables in front. Breakfast was very good... she served cantaloupe with a warm blueberry compote on top and a sprinkle of powdered sugar, then a delicious spinach mushroom quiche topped with melted swiss cheese, grape tomatoes, new potatoes, and bacon. Orange juice and coffee too. The best part was that Beverlee brought a tray of hot coffee, cream and sugar to the room at 7:30am!

Lou and Beverlee are wonderful innkeepers. They have created a warm, inviting Bed & Breakfast that we will definitely visit again. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the food is outstanding!
