This inn is gorgeous and in a terrific location. We stayed in the Duchess room which was very elegant. The bed was super comfortable. We got in late so I didn't get to try the tub (sad). Fluffy towels and robes are provided. And there was a hairdryer (yay). The innkeepers did a fantastic job getting us checked in with minimum of fuss even though we arrived after the staff had left for the day.

This is the second time we stayed at this B&B, the first time was approximately 4 years ago. We decided to come back after staying in other hotels in St. Augustine thereafter hoping to relive the experience of a romantic B&B getaway. It was very good then, no so great this time … things are getting old and in my opinion the place is in need of some revitalization.

LOCATION: it is centrally located in the middle of the old town, so this aspect is unbeatable; within walking distance to all the history and action.

VALUE: it is not terrible, but I have the option to stay in better places in the city for about the same money.

FOOD: breakfast is good; although repetitive and with few choices.

ROOM: Windsor King, Private Balcony (2nd Floor). This room compare with the previous one (Buckingham -3rd Fl.) still in the small size, but have a descent balcony with access from the exterior staircase. There is no doors to the sink and shower, only to the narrow toilet space. The bedding is worn and old and so are the towels. The bathroom grout needs to be changed as some segments are already black and the small cracks can be seen from the missing caulk. Now lets talk temperature… this is January and it is cool outside while the inn was a sauna; last time it was March still cool outside and we had to open the widow to be able to sleep in the third floor; this time the window will not open so we found ourselves opening the balcony door to let fresh air circulate before we can lay in bed, of course waking up sweaty. Adjusting the thermostat is useless.

BUILDING: a coat of fresh paint is much needed; the only ice machine is in the 3rd floor; and it is a historic old house so do no count on elevators or noiseless walking up/down the stairs. Consider you luggage weight if not staying in the first floor.

STAFF: the staff is OK, not rude but not extremely friendly or attentive to guest needs.

PARKING: if you are planning to move around on you own car, consider that the assigned parking is about 3 blocks away and no Valet. My advice, buy the trolley pass for the length of your stay (the green trolley).

Room Tip: Try the second floor with balcony to ensure easy access and scape from the high temperatures. The cl...

Great staff and wonderful breakfasts. This was our 2nd stay and will be back again. Loved the bacon on a stick. Mother nature sent us rain and the helpful staff supplied us with a nice oversized umbrella. Can't wait to return.

Recently stayed at the Agustin Inn for two nights with a friend and had a delightful experience . All the employees were very helpful and friendly and Lestari the cook created some very delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable . Wasn't crazy about rooms with baths directly in the bedroom but our room... The Emperor had a state of the art shower. Only thing missing from the room was another hook to hang towels on in the bathroom. The location was ideal and had one of the best restaurants we ate in directly next door... The Tasting Room. We both would stay at the Agustin again

Room Tip: Weekend music across the street should be taken into consideration on room choice....website describ...

My husband and I went for a first time to St Agustin, did not know what to expect, we found this beautiful place just walking in the most touristic zone of downtown, took the Camelot Room, very beautiful, clean and romantic, but it has white blinds in the windows, the light of the street kept us wake all night long and there was nobody to tell, all the building was empty. It needs a dark curtains that block the street lights. Also we was told breakfast starts at 9:30 am, we are early risers ... the girl that check us said she was making the breakfast and she was not an early person :-( .... common! we are in vacation, we need to go and see new places!!. can't wait lo leave after 10 to start our day!!!!..... If you like to have late breakfast, this place is for you.

Agustin Inn is located in the heart of the old city--you can walk to every place. Parking is not on the property but is only 3 blocks away. The staff is courteous, helpful and very friendly. The breakfasts are creative and really tasty. The rooms are not huge but are well-appointed and the bathrooms are really nice. This is an ideal place to see St. Augustine. My only complaint is that they advertise having an elevator, and they do, but it is not in plane site and they don't seem to encourage the use. That said, we would happily stay there again.

Room Tip: Choose the "Duchess" for quiet, otherwise they are all fairly comparable.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Agustin Inn. The owner of the B&B does a great job hiring her staff. Everyone was absolutely delightful - helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing. We stayed in the Windsor. One morning breakfast was served to us on the balcony which was very nice. Coffee, tea and cocoa are available 24/7 plus there were always fresh baked goods and fresh fruit tea to snack on. Parking is included in a lot a couple of blocks away. We parked our car and never moved it until we left St. Augustine. We will definitely stay at the Agustin Inn again!!
