This is an old motel which has been nicely renovated. The location is great and is excellent value. Most points of interest are an easy walk. There are no meals onsite, but the hotel is surrounded by restaurants.More
I've stayed at this hotel for many years at least twice a year. On my previous visit to St. Augustine, I decided to try another hotel since the Bayfront Inn had declined. While walking by, I noticed the hotel had changed to a Best Western. I decided to give the hotel another try. To my surprise, great changes have taken place. The rooms are nicely furnished, clean with updated goods. New Staff, friendly, well informed and helpful. Look forward to my next visit.

Seems to have the best location in St. Aug. The fort and bay are across the street and you are 1/2 block from the historic district with the bars and shops, etc.
Paid $200 for two beds, two adults.
Rooms were nicer than nice, but not luxurious.
Would stay again, but if I was traveling romantically I would probably choose a B&B.

You can't get any more convenient to everything! Walking distance to all the major sites and the Old Town Trolley stops right in front of it.
The hotel is obviously older, but the owners have put a lot into renovations, and you can really tell. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfy. We were right next to the pool, and although I was concerned about noise, we didn't hear a thing all night.
The staff was very polite. We arrived in town early and were able to check in early with no problems. Checkout the next day was simple, and relatively painless.
I've already recommended this hotel to friends who are planning a trip to St Augustine, and will be back myself on my next trip up there!

My wife and I stayed here for one night for our 2nd year anniversary. We were not disappointed. It's right across from the fort and the bay. There is a little deck areas with chairs and tables that look out into the bay, which was a nice area to play card and have a few. After a short ride back from the beach we checked in, showered and walked from the hotel to the shops in St Augustine. We ate at Pizza time (which was amazing) then walked across the street to the fort. The rooms are a little small but we were out for most of our stay anyway. The rooms were clean. The guy at the front desk said three words to me between checking in and out. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

This is an older motel that has the advantage of being here first, right in the waterfront, a short walk to everything you go to St Augustine for. The fort entrance is just across the street, it is close to dozens of great restaurants and historical sites, homes, Flagler College, Lightner museum - you name it it's. nearby.
The rooms at the motel are a little small, but each room has a balcony/walkway with a bench to sit on and watch the activity outside. The owners did a nice job refurbishing the rooms, and they feel clean and comfortable.
Here is an often overlooked secret - above the lobby entrance is a balcony with several chairs and tables. Get yourself a bottle of wine, a sandwich or snacks and sit out there in the evening while the sun fades into twilight. The bay is just across the street with sailboats, tour boats and a tall ship. The horse-drawn carriages clip clop by waving hellos. People on the sidewalks below meander by clad in a rainbow of vacation wear. You'll have a great evening.
