We have stayed at the Carriage Way many times. We keep returning because John and Jeannie make us feel like family. There are many nice touches, such as wine, soft drinks and coffee always available, a computer for guest use and beautiful quilts on every bed. The house is always spotless. The location is perfect for walking around the historic area of St. Augustine. We will definitely return many more times and have recommended it to our friends.

This inn is owner operated. The owners are very friendly and attentive.
Rooms are very nicely furnished with 'period' style pieces, and to my personal satisfaction the oly TV is in the parlor. There is free WiFi for those who cannot seperate themselves from theer gadgets. Breadfast is served 'buffet' style with deliceous hot foods, fruit, fresh baked bread and plenty of coffee or juice.
Best in St. Augustine in my opinion.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms tend to be a little quieter.

This was our second stay here in connection with a B&B association meeting. Like 2 years ago, the Carriage Way B&B still has that great nostalgic charm and beauty - paired with impeccable cleanliness. What impressed specially this time was the rich landscaping in front of the house and the truly delicious dishes on the breakfast buffet!

This place is a quaint old house full of beautiful old photos of the owners' family. The rooms are not terribly fancy, but they are spic and span, very comfortable and every detail has been thought of by the owners. Sheets and blankets were very high quality, free sherry, liquor, and wine are abundant, and there is a fridge with free drinks of every kind. The owners were straightforward and helpful with their advice about what to do and where to avoid in St. Augustine. The best thing about this place, though, is the food. The owner is a first class cook. You will enjoy your breakfast and the treats they set out for guests. The homemade breads were wonderful.

My wife and I have had two stays at Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast, and both times we were completely satisfied with our stay. With the hospitable nature and generous touch of the hosts at Carriage Way, St. Augustine becomes a much greater place. We stayed the weekend of Oct. 14 and found a pleasant and secluded home away from home in the separate cottage that Carriage Way offers. Our stay was so nice that my wife and I will stay nowhere else in St. Augustine. We even started planning our next trip back.
