The park wasn't crowed and the weather was perfect for our trip. We only spent a few hours at the park but were able to see all the exhibits, including the planetarium and cannon demonstration. The archer took extra time with us because of our 13 year-old's interest in archery.

We are dog lovers so the dogs didn't bother us, and everyone who brought their pets welcomed interaction and petting.

First its dog friendly, and it's hard to find things to do with your pet.Your free kid is welcome everywhere in the park, even the planetarium and the discovery globe. All the staff was very friendly and informative. You could spend as little as 2 hours or is long as all day and really enjoy yourself. You can taste the water from the fountain, contrary to other reviews its not that bad. They have a beautiful boardwalk, a planetarium show,( informative and interesting),a large globe theater showing the various routes explores took when discovering the New World. they have a recreated Indian village, an authentic canon firing, a boat house showing construction techniques,an archery show, a bunch of peacocks running wild, a mission Chapel.I have been to St Augustine many times, but this is my first time at the fountain of youth.I can guarantee it won't be my last. They have picnic tables, so you can easily make a day of it.I found it meticulously clean, and impeccably manicured.Go have a good time, compared to most of the attractions in St Augustine, this is a real bargain

We went thru the park the day after Christmas which was unusually windy & cold for FL. The guides were well versed in their history. The exhibits were done well and very informative of
the past things that happened on that spot. One could spend a good bit of time there so budget
your time frame when you visit. We both had a drink from "The Fountain" and still are waiting
for the results.... :)

This popular attraction is located on the waterfront in Saint Augustine, FL. Interesting history and nice walking paths throughout exhibits. An opportunity to sample the famous water. My advice is to just sip it, the taste is awful. Even though there is a lot of history here and a nice view, I believe the price for the little time that it takes to see this attraction is priced way too high.
