“Touching History-Adults and Kids will enjoy”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

Visited the Fort on a Holiday - it was a bit crowded but lots of room to move around. We went into every room and read every plaque. So much history we even went into a room in the middle of the Fort that you have to practically crawl to get into....well worth it. The kids will like this one too.

“Small but Awesome Tour”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Thou not a major Historic place it was a great 1 hour tour with plenty of History, Period re-enactor at the fort for our tour. His Name was Kevin and he and the other people running the center and boat, mostly volunteers are great!! Well worth your time to go . A Ferry takes visitors to fort across river, a maximum of 36 go at a time. The tour leaves every hour on the halves.

“A nice boat ride”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

If you have been to Castillo de San Marcos, this is a mini version, but still interesting. Again views of the waterways and ocean are great, and it's interesting to see the accommodations the Spanish soldiers had to endure.

“Vacation 2014”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

This monument was amazing and should be seen by everyone. This is a part of our history in America that nobody hears about and should be educated in. The place is well maintained and the staff that maintains it are helpful and friendly.
