We stopped off here on our way to St Augustine. It is a free attraction with free parking and restroom facilities. There was a friendly man in the office from whom you collect your boarding passes for the boat. You then catch the boat over to the fort which only takes a minute or two. There was a tour guide waiting for us on the island and he gave us a little talk. The fort itself is quite small but it is good for a flying visit. You are able to enter and climb the ladder and stairs to the different levels of the fort. There are some fantastic scenic views from the fort and we were lucky enough to see a couple of dolphins playing in the surrounding waters. I would recommend to people of all ages if they are passing. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area.
