My wife and I and two close friends spent several hours there today. $7 for each adult with the ticket valid for 3 days. There are lots of soldiers in authentic uniforms and several locations where these 'soldiers' gave talks about the fort's history. We got to witness the cannon firing plus firing of muskets several times - pretty cool. Even though there were a LOT of people touring the fort, you rarely felt crowded. The bathrooms in the fort are closed and being remodeled so they had portable toilet trailers outside the fort to use, but these are not like porta-johns and were very clean and great to use with running water. I enjoyed all of the different types of cannons plus just the construction of the fort in general. Plan two hours to leisurely visit everything and more if you enjoy people and/or boat watching and have time for the free video of the fort's history. Enjoy!
