A remarkable place made spectacular with the "behind the scenes" tour. We arrive early and explored on our own. We climbed the lighthouse and spent a good hour up top. Despite the gusty winds it was a most relaxing experience. We then met up with the docent and tour group and learned so much more. She brought us behind the scenes to where the archaeologists work on the ruins recovered from off-shore wrecks. It was amazing! I only wish I had been able to attend the special tour given by the archaeologists; if you are in town the day the do these tours I would strongly recommend it.
