Owner description: The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price. The two vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men's and ladies restrooms. The Vessels are equipped with state of the art navigation and fish finding equipment. We also are offering PRIVATE charter trips on our 35 foot Contender center console for up to six passengers. Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches. Productive reefs (natural and artificial) exist in 50 feet through 200 feet of water. The Gulf Stream comes to its closest point of land around the Palm Beach and Jupiter Inlets. All of our fishing 'catching' is done from ¼ mile to 3 miles from shore. Catches consist of Kingfish, Snapper, Grouper, Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Cobia, Barracuda, Sharks, False Albacore and Wahoo. The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary, but you can book online at our website. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising. “5 star for a bargain price”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

Great crew, catching was ok and the fishing was great! Tim Jon and captain Brad were an excellent crew out of Jupiter inlet! A beautiful day on the high seas! The boat caught many kingfish, one large cobia and several snappers! Blue runners and bonitos kept it exciting! Along with some Florida maneaters( bull sharks) looking to snatch some of our catch away from us! I highly recommend this family boat to anyone! What a good bang for the buck!

“Fishing was Fun customer service needs work!”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

My and my Brother had a Fun day fishing once we finally got to go. It started with plans to go out of Jupiter on but that got axed fast with a sudden change of we have charter. Mind you we had called that day to ask if they are going and the guy said yes. We live about 1 1/2 away so we went only to find out that the had a sudden charter they did not know about. Ok so the guy on the boat says we can still make the Riviera Beach boat for 1:30 so we want to fishing we decied to go down there. We were not the only people on that trip that this happend to. Once we got on the boat and got out fishing it was fun even despite the rough sea condtions. I won the pot for biggist fish so that was cool. Over all the day was good just wish the owner of the boat would use better communication.

“Deep Sea Fishing”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

The Deep sea fishing was good I didn't do well, but others did quite well. It was cool in the morning but warmed up by midday. Blue Heron is a nice dock we did catch a amberjack. The crew was very helpful with the inexperience members. I can't wait to go back next week.
