Description: We call it the “collective kitchen.” For the menus of 3800 Ocean are inspired not only by the local abundance of South Florida’s renowned crops that thrive under a hospitable climate, but by the regional flavors that stir the souls of our collaborative team of chefs. Each chef brings a new insight to the table: the comfort food favorites of New England; the fire and spice of Mexico; the Caribbean traditions of Jamaica; and the ageless classics of Long Island. Our own local abundance of fresh produce and seafood allows us to take the collective kitchen dining concept quite literally. Everything is made from scratch. Every taste evokes an emotional connection to a past culinary memory, or perhaps a future craving.

We visited the restaurant our first night at the hotel. Overall service was OK (although they were short on staff and tables - this was baffling since there was floor space for tables). Food selection is average and the skills of the chefs/kitchen help varied from breakfast, lunch and dinner. First night's dinner was average, all three breakfasts (a la carte) were below average and downright poorly prepared - pancakes were particularly awful. Great to have the restaurant on-site in a pinch for the first night and some breakfast fair but we left the hotel each of the following nights (over 7 days) and found some outstanding restaurants within 10-15min away on PGA Blvd. around Palm Beach Gardens. We also chose the Starbuck's options (on-site in lobby) in place of breakfast and lunch for the rest of the time.

Best food my family and I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Our waiter was very nice, friendly and attentive. The desserts were ok, not as good as I expected them to be.

The 3800 Ocean restaurant, don’t bother going anywhere else. The food is amazing with drinks to match. The restaurant staff is as friendly and welcoming as the rest of the facility. The Caribbean “Bluff” is highly recommended, with the addition of Jasmine rice. Our wait staff, Adriana and her assistant Chris were top notch and very attentive to our needs.

We had enjoyed lunch on the outside dining area of 3800 Ocean two years ago, so when we realized we were now staying at the property with such a wonderful restaurant we were THRILLED!

We enjoyed food from here 3 of the 4 nights we stayed on Singer Island. Two nights we dined in the restaurant, enjoying wonderful service, excellent cuisine, and beautiful selections of wine. The other night my husband went down, enjoyed a glass of wine while they prepared our yummy dinner to eat on our balcony.

You must, must go here when you visit Singer Island.

This is an expensive restaurant which should provide a standard of quality to match the price. Unfortunately, 3800 does not meet that expectation. Ambiance is great, seaside table with terrific views of the ocean. Food was just OK. My wife and another guest enjoyed the grouper very much; I was disappointed in the veal medallions. Service was inattentive with an apparently not very well trained rookie waiter. Wine list prices bordered on ridiculous, twice the price for pretty ordinary wines as one finds in other quality restaurants. When reserving, we indicated that it was an anniversary dinner, but there was no recognition of the special occasion. My $100 for two could have been better spent elsewhere.
